I have to admit that I love a good smoothie. This is a simple blueberry smoothie recipe that I love, and the bonus is that it keeps you feeling full too! It is a great option for a morning or afternoon pick-me-up.

Blueberry season is my favorite time of the year. Blueberries are fabulous because they have a subtle sweet flavor, they are packed full of antioxidants and packed with fiber.

When I make a smoothie, I want it to be filling so you will notice that I added ¼ cup of oatmeal. Alternatively, if you don’t like oatmeal, you can use ½ an avocado instead.
